Tabernacle Baptist Church will begin meeting back inside the month of July @ 11am

Disciple, according to Easton’s Bible Dictionary, is as follows: A disciple of Christ is one who,

Not only do we need weekly celebration and worship time as a corporate body, we also need a deeper relationship with fellow believers in order to grow in faith. A smaller, more intimate group is where we get to know one another personally, carry one another’s burdens, pray for one another and learn through relationships how to be more like Christ in practice. It’s where what we know is walked out in shoe leather.

In Phil. 4:9 Paul writes,

“The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”

Jesus preached to many, many people, but always returned to His core group of “disciples” – teaching them, training them and breaking bread (fellowshipping) with them. He used a small group to equip the future leaders of the early church to change the world, and we believe this same approach is just as vital today.

At Tabernacle Baptist Church we have created adult discipleship groups, also known as D-Groups, that meet once weekly in various locations on a variety of days throughout the week.

We would be pleased to have you join us online at one of our Zoom D-Group meetings. If you are interested in checking out our current D-Group study, please email us at tabernacle121@yahoo.com for more information. We welcome you and look forward to meeting you soon.

We are currently studying “Red Letter Challenge” by Zach Zehnder. The Red Letter Challenge (RLC) study is everything you need to go on a 40-day life-changing discipleship experience. The RLC is unique because it takes Christ’s literal words and gives you practical daily challenges based on those words.  RLC believes that Jesus followers want to be the best Jesus followers that we can be, not out of obligation, but out of gratitude for what Jesus has done for us!
